Frequently asked questions
How do I scan a food label?
Open the Scan tab, then either take a photo of the label or choose an image from your gallery. Make sure the ingredients and nutrition facts are visible. Tap “Analyze Food” to get your results.
Why isn’t my scan saving?
In guest mode, scans are not saved. Create a free account (or log in) to save your scan history and personalize results with your allergies and goals.
How is my data used?
We use your profile and scan data only to provide and improve the app. We don’t sell your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Analysis failed or looks wrong
Ensure the label is clear and well lit, and that both ingredients and nutrition facts are in frame. If you have a valid Gemini API key set and still see errors, check your internet connection and try again. For persistent issues, contact support.
